A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum

September 26, 27, 28, October 2,3,4,5 , 1997

Directed by B. Michael Quale

A hilarious musical comedy with the zany nonsense of vaudeville.  The play takes place  two hundred years before the Christan era on a spring day on a street in Rome in front of the houses of Erronius, Senex, and Lycus.  The characters are deliciously unsavory.  A befuddled father with a shrewish wife, neighbors, strangers and the Roman army are drawn into mounting confusion in this side splitting classic.
